TITAN, also known as the:

Top-secret Institute for the Training and Advancement of Nanotechnology-enhanced super-raiders

TITAN is the culmination of over 6 years of research and development primarily in nano-technology, cybernetics, and quantum brain dynamics.

You have been selected to participate in Project TITAN. This selection was made based on prior combat performance, genome analysis, and exemplary scores on apititude, physical, and psychological examinations.

You will be the prototype for the next stage in human raider evolution.

Upon transfer to the main TITAN complex, the following enhancements will be immediately applied:

- Artificial endocrine gland to provide stimulants for tiredness, analgesics for pain, bursts of extra adrenaline for emergency situations, and even intravenous feeding for hunger for a short period.

- Drug therapy to stimulate quantum brain dynamics and increase reaction speed to under 50 milliseconds (165 ms faster than average). Studies have shown that subjects may even develop limited prescience in advanced stages.

- Nanomachines injected directly into the bloodstream to provide a variety of medical and combat functions: 1) Targeted drug delivery to fight diseases 2) Limited surgical repair of internal wounds 3) Regulation of ciliary motility to provide improved respiratory function and to increase oxygen to the brain if subject is nearing unconsciousness.

- Neural interface to replace standard issue "keyboard/mouse" equipment via an implanted array of microscopic recievers to process electrocorticographic and quantum brain wave data. This will also supplement standard "Ventrilo"-type software by enabling rudimentary instantaneous thought-based communication between all neural interface equipped users.

- Ocular implants to widen binocular field of vision to 170 degrees (+30 deg) and sharpen visual acuity to 20/3 (7.7x normal).

After upgrades have been completed, you will join TITAN's elite unit of similarly enhanced prototype super-raiders.

Preliminary field trials will commence on December 7th 2010 at 0700 Zulu time.
